摘要
活性氧(ROS)对于肿瘤而言是把双刃剑。一方面,肿瘤细胞内适度升高的ROS有利于肿瘤的生存、发展,并与耐药密切相关,另一方面,过量的ROS又能通过选择性杀死肿瘤细胞达到治疗的目的。基于ROS的肿瘤治疗策略受到了人们的广泛关注。文章从ROS调节角度综述了中草药防治肿瘤的最新进展及应用策略,旨在为中草药抗肿瘤药物的研发提供新的思路和有益的参考。
        Reactive oxygen species(ROS) is a double-edged sword for cancer. On one hand, moderately elevated ROS in cancer cells is conducive to the survival and development of tumor and is closely related to the drug resistance. On the other hand, excess ROS can kill cancer cells selectively for the treatment purpose. ROS-based treatment is emerging as an attractive anticancer strategy. This article provides an overview of Chinese herbal medicine in the prevention and treatment of cancer from the perspective of ROS regulation, aiming to provide new ideas and useful references for the research and development of Chinese herbal medicine as anti-cancer agents.
