To construct the relationships between cephalo-facial features and stature of Muya and Ersu people,157 Muya adults and 120 Ersu adults in Yaan of Sichuan Province were sampled. The stature and cephalo-facial characteristics including head length, head breadth, face breadth, bigonial diameter, minimum frontal breadth and former surface height were measured. The linear regression equations and multiplication factors were adopted to estimate the stature according to the cephalo-facial indexes. Then the multiple regression equations among stature and cephalo-facial features were constructed. The results showed that six cephalo-facial indexes were all related positively with statures in Muya males, and the correlation between head length and stature was the largest. In Muya females, the face breadth and bigonial diameter were correlated positively with statures, and correlation between face breadth and stature was the largest. In Ersu males, head length, head breadth and bigonial diameter were correlated positively with stature, and the head length had the largest correlation with stature. In Ersu females, the minimum frontal breadth and face breadth were correlated positively with stature, and the correlation between minimum frontal breadth and stature was the largest. The stature estimated by the linear regression equa-tion was closer to the actual value than the stature estimated by the multiplication factors.
