摘要

地方历史文献资料对研究特定区域历史演变与发展具有至关重要的作用。纽约公共图书馆地方历史文献资料建设以其丰富的内容、多样的采集机制、科学的保存开发以及充分的价值发挥,全方位、多维度地呈现了纽约的历史风貌。我国图书馆可以借鉴纽约公共图书馆的实践经验,通过构建文献保护体系、鼓励全民共建共享、加强技术开发运用,以及精准定位用户需求等有效举措,推动地方历史文献资料建设。
        The local historical documents have a vital role in studying the history of a specific region.The New York public library local historical documents construction,presents the history of New York through the rich content,diverse collection mechanism,scientific preservation and development as well as full use of its value.Our libraries can draw lessons from the New York public library's experience,and promote the local historical documents construction by building a document protection system,encouraging all people to jointly build and share,strengthening development and application of technology and positioning user requirements accurately.
